Prof. V. Sundarapandian was born near Madurai, India on July 15, 1967. He obtained his D.Sc. degree in Electrical and Systems Engineering from Washington University, St. Louis, USA in May 1996. He has specialized in the areas – Linear and Nonlinear Control Systems, Chaos and Control, Fuzzy Logic Control, and Computational Science. Presently, Dr. V. Sundarapandian is serving as Professor and Dean of the Research and Development Centre at Vel Tech Dr. RR & Dr. SR Technical University, Chennai, India. Earlier, he has served as Professor and Acting Director of the Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management-Kerala at Trivandrum, India (IIITM-K). Dr. V. Sundarapandian has over 20 years of teaching and research experience. He has authored 3 books on Science subjects, viz. Numerical Linear Algebra (PHI Learning, India), Probability, Statistics and Queuing Theory (PHI Learning, India), and Ordinary and Partial Differential Equations (McGraw Hill Education, India). He has guided 3 doctorate students in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering. He has authored over 290 papers in refereed international journals and over 80 papers in International Conferences. He has served as General Chair and Conference Chair of many International Conferences, and delivered many Keynote addresses on Chaos and Control Systems. He is the Editor-in-Chief of over ten International Journals on Control Systems, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Computational Biology and Soft Computing. He is also in the Editorial Boards of many International Journals on Computer Science, Information Technology and Computational Science. |

Prof. Fatma Mili has received her PhD in Computer Science from Pierre and Marie Curie University, France (Université Pierre et Marie Curie). She has been at Oakland University since with sabbatical and invited positions at Laval University, Canada, University of Buenos Aires, Argentina, Arts and Trades School, France, and National School of Informatics Sciences, Tunisia. |

Prof. Naceur BenHadj Braiek obtained the Engineering Master Degree from the National School of Engineers of Tunis (ENIT), the PhD from the University of Science and Technology of Lille- France and the Science State Doctorate from the National School of Engineers of Tunis (ENIT), all in electrical engineering. Currently he is professor at the High School of Sciences and Techniques of Tunis (ESSTT), University of Tunis, and head of the research laboratory "Laboratory for Advanced Systems" at the Tunisia Polytechnic School (EPT). |

Prof. ATahir El Hashani obtained his Doctor of Science degree in Control System Engineering from Beijing University of Aeronautical and Astronautics-China. He was a member of a research group at the Libyan industrial research and development center (1990-2008) Tripoli-Libya. He is Lecturer at Aeronautical Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering, Tripoli University, Tripoli, Libya. in the field of control system, Microcontroller and Data Acquisition Applications. He has published several papers in International Conferences. His research interests are Aircraft Control Systems, microcontroller applications, embedded systems, Mathematical Modeling and Scientific Computing. |

Prof. Besma Smida received her Engineer degree in telecommunications from High School of Communication of Tunis, Tunisia, in 1995 and the M. Sc. and Ph. D. degrees in telecommunications from INRS-EMT, University of Quebec, Montreal, Canada. She worked as a research assistant in the Personal Communications Group of INRS-EMT. She was a research engineer in the Technology Evolution and Standards group of Microcell Inc (now ROGERS Wireless), Montreal. She also took part in major wireless normalization committees (3GPP, T1P1). She was lecturer/Postdoctoral fellow at the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Harvard University, Cambridge, USA. She iscurrently an Assistant Professor at Purdue University, Hammond, USA. She is also, Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Chair of IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE), Chicago section(WIE), Member of l’Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec. |

Prof. Tarek Ahmed-Ali received the B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from the Ecole Nationale Polytechnique of Algiers, Algiers, Algeria, the M.Sc. degree in electrical and computer engineering from University of Paris VI, Paris, France, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Paris Sud, Paris, France. He joined the University of Paris XIII, Paris, France as a Teaching and Research Assistant. He moved to Ecole Centrale de Lille, Lille, France, also as a Teaching and Research Assistant. He was appointed Research and Development Engineer at SNCF (the French Railway Corporation). He was appointed to a lectureship in Control Engineering at Ecole Nationale des Ingénieurs des Etudes et Techniques de l’Armement of Brest (ENSIETA), Brest, France. He was appointed Associate Professor of Automatic Control at the University of Caen, Caen, France. |

Prof. (Dr) V.R.Singh obtained Ph.D. degree from IIT-Delhi. He is the Fellow of IEEE (EMBS-IMS), F-IETE, F-IE-I, F-ASI/USI and F-IFDUMB. He has 35 yrs of research-cum-teaching experience in India and abroad (Univ of Toronto-Canada, KU Leuven- Belgium, Korea Univ, South Korea, TU-Delft, Netherlands, Univ of Surrey, UK, and others). He has worked at National Physical Laboratory, New Delhi, as a Director-grade-Scientist/Distinguished Professor and Head- Electronic Instrumentation, Sensors and Biomedical Measurements & Standards. He has over 250 papers, 150 talks, 4 books, 14 patents and 30 consultancies to his credit. He is the Associate Editor of IEEE International Sensor Journal, Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurements.He is on Editorial Boards of Sensors & Transducers Journal (Europe) & Int Journal of Onlinne Engg (Austria). |

Prof.Djamila Rekioua Ziani, studies Electrical Engineering at the "Ecole Nationale Polytechnique" of Algiers, and received her Dipl.-Ing-Degree, the Master Degree in the same school and the Doctorat (PHD) at the University UFAS Setif (Algeria). Since 1989, she is teaching and pursuing research; firstly at the University of Sciences and technology (USTHB), Bab ezzouar (Algiers) and now she is Professor at the University of Bejaia (Algeria). Her research interests are in the modeling, control of A.C machines and Electric drives, Renewable Energy (photovoltaic, wind turbine, fuel cells and hybrid systems).
