International Conference on Control, Engineering & Information Technology (CEIT’13) - Innovation and Engineering Management Session

We are organizing the “Business Engineering and Quality Management Session” in the International Conference on Control, Engineering & Information Technology (CEIT’13), see the conference link: http://ipco-co.com/CEIT-CONF.html 
The scope of this session is to bring together leading academic scientists, practitioners, researchers and scholars from around the world to an international forum for exchange ideas in the domain of business engineering, new product development, individual and corporate entrepreneurship, organizational innovativeness, quality management and their possible relations with firm performance. 
This session focuses on researches and practices of business engineering and quality management to increase business performance for gaining and sustaining competitive advantage. This includes to improve business performance regarding to increase quality, decrease cost, improve delivery of time and flexibility, and agile manufacturing techniques in forms of new or significantly differentiated products, processes, management styles or marketing techniques either incrementally and radically.

Cagri Bulut is an associate professor of Management and holds the chair in Business Administration Department at Yasar University, Turkey. Cagri Bulut has degree of Economics from Istanbul University, Master of Science in Strategy, and PhD of Business Administration from Gebze Institute of Technology (GIT), Turkey. Prior joining to Yasar University, he served as postdoctoral Economist to FAO of The United Nations, CountrySTAT Project.

Cagri Bulut has a wide range of publications on Strategy and Management of Innovation and Corporate Entrepreneurship. He has given lectures in several European countries as visiting professor such as Italy, Latvia, Germany and Slovenia. He has taken role in many projects, some funded from The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK) and ISI-FRAUNHOFER. He is serving as member of Entrepreneurship Education Commission at TUBITAK, Institutional Management of Higher Education (IMHE) at OECD, assessor of Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC), board member of seven faculties at Yasar University, and many other organizations supporting Entrepreneurship. He is the editor of Yasar University Journal, and member of reviewer and editorial boards at prominent business journals. Dr Bulut is the Ambassador of Academy of Management, Entrepreneurship Division to Turkey.
