| Prof.Sundarapandian Vaidyanathan (India) obtained his D.Sc. degree in Electrical and Systems Engineering from Washington University, St. Louis, USA in May 1996. Dr. Sundarapandian (called as "Sundar") has specialized in the areas – Linear and Nonlinear Control Systems, Chaos Theory, Intelligent Control, Systems Modelling and Computational Science. Presently, Sundar is serving as Professor and Dean of the Research and Development Centre at Vel Tech University, Chennai, India. Earlier, he has served as Professor and Acting Director of the Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management-Kerala at Trivandrum, India (IIITM-K). Sundar has over 20 years of teaching and research experience. Sundar has authored 3 subject books, 1 book with IGI-Global (USA) and 5 Springer books. He has guided several doctorate students in Mathematics, Computer Science and Electrical Engineering. He has 250+ Scopus-indexed publications in International Journals and Conference Proceedings. He has served as General Chair and Conference Chair of many International Conferences, and delivered many plenary talks on Chaos and Control Systems. He is in the Editorial Boards of many Scopus-indexed International Journals on Computer Science, Information Technology and Computational Science. He has conducted several workshops on Control Systems, Chaos, Systems Modelling and Computational Science using SCILAB and MATLAB. |
